The Greek Goddess of fruit trees, gardens and orchards

Our onsite organic vegetable garden is a great source of pride for Santorini! We grow a variety of fruit and vegetables depending on the season and all goes straight to the kitchen to give you the freshest of ingredients for your meals!

Growing season starts on the 15th April when the temperatures begin to cool, this is when all the seeds are sewn for the coming months. We make our own compost by using kitchen waste and plant waste around the property. Our manure is also sourced locally from small-scale farmers in the community.

We use organic pesticides and also mix the beds with various herbs and flowers to prevent pests – this method is called intercropping.

Around the vegetable garden you will see our beautiful banana trees and passion fruit tree which is used to make our delicious panna cotta!
