This month, we’re proud to share how your support has made a difference:
Empowering Local Voices – We celebrated Helder, a talented local tailor featured on our cultural tour, as he joined the inaugural Community and Nature-Based Tour Guiding Course in partnership with Maputo National Park.
Children’s Day – A donation of 4,000 MZN brought joy to 300 children across Muabsa and Quewene, with laughter, gifts, shared meals, and plenty of cake.
School Access Kits – Thanks to your contributions, 22 students received full access kits including books, stationery, uniforms, shoes, and school fees. The cost per kit has increased to $65, but the value of an education remains priceless.
Looking Ahead – Teacher Housing -Our focus for the remainder of 2025 and 2026 is to raise funds to build safe, durable housing for the four teachers who live and work on the school grounds—offering not only education, but year-round care and security.
Each housing unit costs $1,375, with a total of $5,500 needed to complete all four. We aim to raise these funds during 2026 and hope to begin construction thereafter.
